Music Monday: United As One Tour
Today is the last day of highly acclaimed United As One Tour in Houston, TX. A heavy hitter filled tour headlined by James Fortune & FIYA along with Vashawn Mitchell, Kierra Sheard, and Zacardi Cortez along with a few surprise guest in various cities. They’ve been all across the country changing lives!! I was blessed to see the show in South Carolina and it was absolutely amazing!! Prayers for Newtown, CT
So much to say, so many thoughts on senseless crimes, gun control, mental illness and more … but none of that is appropriate at this time. This is the time as Americans and as a world that we send prayers and love to everyone affect by the shootings in Newtown, CT on Decemeber 14, 2012… I am not a parent yet but this is definitely a feeling and news I can never imagine getting firsthand. My prayer is that God’s peace that passes all understanding will continue to comfort everyone at this time.

I’m sure most people watched the first presidential debate for the 2012 election. Barack Obama seemed more laid back than usual for whatever reason. Romney changed his policies every 30 minutes. Hard to decide who “won” but hands down the most shocking event of the night was candidate Romney saying he would cut PBS and Sesame Street *gasp* … regardless of who you are voting for, exercise your right to vote.
